Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M DA Converter
Studio quality sound. The DacMagic 200M is Cambridge Audio's first product to support MQA. MQA is an award-winning British technology that produces studio-quality sound in a file size small enough for streaming. For example, TIDAL uses MQA technology to produce high-quality sound in its Hi-Fi membership. The DacMagic 200M can fully decode and play MQA files, so they sound like the original studio recording.
A blue MQA indicator on the DacMagic 200M means you are playing an MQA Studio file that has been approved by the artist or producer in the studio or confirmed by the copyright owner. The green indicator is a confirmation that you are playing and extracting an MQA music file.
At the heart of the DacMagic 200M is a pair of very high quality ESS Saber digital converters. They process digital audio files up to 32 bit / 768 kHz or DSD512. All kinds of digital music can therefore be processed, whether it is stored on a CD, smartphone, computer or anywhere else.
It is possible to get digital audio files to the DacMagic 200M device in many different ways. Thanks to the digital optical, coaxial and USB inputs, it is easy to connect all your devices to the device. With Bluetooth aptX support, you can also connect devices wirelessly.
