Designed and manufactured in Japan, the powerful AVC-X4800H is based on 9.4-channel amplification. With Dolby Atmos and DTS:X as well as IMAX Enhanced and Auro-3D functions, the AVC-X4800H surrounds even larger listening rooms with breathtaking 3D sound. With the built-in HEOS® system, you can stream your favorite music wirelessly.

The AVC-X4800H honorably follows the path blazed by its esteemed predecessors, but packs a breathtaking amount of new and necessary technology into its sophisticated exterior. Four discrete subwoofer outputs allow the subwoofer fan to customize the system and the placement of the subwoofers, so that the playback is perfectly even throughout the listening space. Preamplifier outputs and speaker inputs can be defined according to needs. In other words; The AVC-X4800H's internal amplifiers and possible external power amplifiers (or active speakers) live in perfect harmony even when used mixed up. The 8K60 and 4K/120 picture according to the HDMI 2.1 standard moves smoothly in all seven HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs.

A 3D sound experience is possible in all necessary audio formats. Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced. Auro 3D. Sony 360 Reality Audio... The discretely implemented 9-channel amplifier section has two large cooling elements and a strong power supply to produce the famously powerful, dynamic and precise sound quality tuned by Denon's audio masters, which is sufficient at best for up to 200 W per channel. Help with room acoustic problems can be found in the AVC-X4800H's powerful room correction features. The familiar and well-proven Audyssey MultEQ XT32 makes an excellent result, especially when adjusted to your own taste with the affordable Audyssey Editor application. Die-hard tuners have the option of in-depth PC-controlled Audyssey conflation (MultEQ-X, paid license). Dirac Live calibration options of varying degrees are also coming (Dirac Live features are based on paid software licenses). Two speaker settings can be memorized with separate calibrations, which are optionally activated together with the selected sound source.

AL32 processing: Denon's own analog waveform reproduction technology, supports up to 192kHz sampling frequency and 32-bit sampling depth. The technology thoroughly suppresses the noise associated with the D/A conversion, so that even the smallest signals can be reproduced with optimal clarity and bring out all the subtle nuances of the music. AL32 Processing Multi-Channel means that the technology is applied in all channels and with all sound sources.

Four Subwoofer Outputs: Using multiple subwoofers eliminates room modes for smoother bass reproduction. No annoying accents or attenuations, but controlled and full-bodied, toned bass reproduction. Adjust the subwoofer settings to your liking when more than two subwoofers are connected. Select "Standard" if you want the bass reproduction to be as evenly distributed throughout the room as possible. Or choose "Directional" for more focused bass, where each subwoofer seamlessly integrates with the speaker channel closest to it.

Audyssey home improvement

Optimize your sound experience with the Audyssey MultEQ XT32 feature, which adapts the sound reproduction to your individual listening environment. With the included microphone, the MultEQ XT32 measures and analyzes the output of each speaker (including subwoofers) in up to eight measurement locations and produces precise digital filters that optimize the frequency balance and time domain reproduction of each channel. Audyssey Dynamic Volume evens out annoying volume jumps (like TV commercials), letting you listen at lower levels and still enjoy clear dialogue, music and effects. Audyssey Dynamic EQ delivers full clarity at all listening levels, and Audyssey Low Frequency Containment uses advanced psychoacoustic algorithms to deliver rich frequency balance, including deep bass sensation, without disturbing your neighbors or other family members. Audyssey Sub EQ HT offers individual DSP customization of each subwoofer in two-subwoofer systems to keep bass accurate and reach as low as possible. The AVC-X4800H can play 360 Reality Audio from a Google Chromecast device connected to the HDMI input. Easy control with a smart device in your back pocket. The free Denon AVR Remote app for iOS and Android makes using the AVC-X4800H even easier. Adjust the volume, turn the amplifier on or off, mute the music, change the source or switch to HEOS.
