The DNP-3000NE is Denon®'s flagship direct-drive turntable. The solid construction and S-shaped tonearm produce detailed and pure music. The dark ebony natural wood veneer also makes the instrument a beautiful object.
All aspects of the design have been chosen to guarantee accurate reproduction, from the S-shaped tonearm to the powerful direct drive motor and excellent adjustability. The solid structure and effectively insulating legs have been implemented to provide the election strength and high density required for resonance-free music reproduction. A metal turntable, tone arm and controls are mounted on the dark ebony natural wood veneered body.
Denon's original static balance S-shaped tonearm
The player has a carefully designed S-shaped sound arm with an optimized tracking angle at all points of the disc. This newly improved Denon® tonearm features cartridge needle weight adjustment, anti-slip adjustment (0-3g for needle weight) and newly developed stem height adjustment (0-9mm). It gives you full flexibility to adapt your turntable to the sound boxes or custom turntable you want. The box carriage with SME Bayonet connector complies with the SME Bayonet standard, thanks to which it is easily replaceable and removable to install the sound box.
Direct drive motor system
In the tradition of Denon's direct drive motor systems, the rotation speed does not fluctuate regardless of the selected speed or load. The technology is easy to use, requires little maintenance and reaches full speed almost immediately. Denon released its first direct-drive turntable, the DN-302F, in 1970 for broadcast studios.
Space Vector PWM motor control
State Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SV-PWM) is a new implementation for motor speed control. SV-PWM is an algorithm used to control the PWM module, which in practice acts as a power supply for the motor. SV-PWM greatly reduces harmonic ripple in the motor, which can cause overheating and torque fluctuations. It also provides consistently reliable voltage and frequency output for long listening sessions, regardless of rotation speed or load.
SMPS power supply
A switched-mode power supply (SMPS) is a great choice for a turntable because it avoids the harmful oscillation caused by a linear transformer. It allows the power supply to be integrated into the turntable, eliminating the need for an external transformer. It also effectively eliminates voltage and frequency fluctuations caused by the electrical network.
Adjustable isolation feet
Isolation feet play a key role in protecting playback from any vibrations that may be transmitted to the turntable from the environment. However, the feet are also adjustable so that the balance of the turntable is perfect and the needle can follow the groove as precisely as possible.
Rotation speed selection
The player supports both 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm speeds.
MDF frame with ebony veneer
The body is made of solid MDF, which allows for a rigid structure for the best performance and sound quality. The matte natural wood veneer ensures a beautiful finish.
Removable dust cover
The beautiful, crystal clear and easily removable cover protects the record player when it is not in use - or even while playing a record.
