Surround-radiating speakers have their own fan base. And for a reason, because at its best, Duevel's solution produces a feeling of space and air that makes the music fill the entire room. The new model Enterprise does the same thing as Star Trek's starship - takes the listener with it into space. And at a very reasonable price.
Technically, the speaker quite faithfully follows Duevel's line. The entire collection of the German speaker manufacturer consists of omnidirectional solutions. The starting prices are the Planets model with a hefty ton price tag, while the Enterprise goes a step further. It ranks above Planets and below Venus and Bella Luna Diamante in Duevel's collection. Enterprise's splitter is designed to be phase linear as much as possible.
The price tag of a fair 2000 euros on the speaker is not unreasonable at all, if you take into account the better finish and sound than before. The bass head in particular is of better quality than its little brother, the factory promises. The placement is in some respects more critical than a conventional speaker, but the essence of the Enterprise is both sonically and aesthetically easy to fit into most Finnish rooms. There are an exceptionally large number of color options, so it's worth taking the time to think about the finish.
