The Vertex III Custom Series speaker is designed to deliver premium sound and full compatibility with other ELAC systems. The speaker's sound follows the same sound profile as ELAC home theater speakers, so you can freely mix and match components for different environments and create exceptional listening experiences.
Whether it's building a home theater with Vela Front channels and wall-mounted surround speakers, or Atmos sound from ceiling panels combined with flagship Vertex soundbars, everything works seamlessly together to deliver balanced and impressive sound.
Wall mounting
The speaker can be mounted vertically or horizontally using four recessed keyhole mounts. Cable channels provide convenient space for cables, allowing the speaker to be mounted completely flush against the wall.
Flexible tuning
A switch located on the back of the speaker changes the tweeter tuning, allowing the speaker to be installed vertically or horizontally with optimal sound quality.
Wall mounting – optional
The included brackets can be used to hang the speakers both vertically and horizontally.
AS technology – Crystal Membrane
The striking surface of the Crystal membrane is not only a visual element, but also offers significant acoustic advantages:
- Increased rigidity thanks to the crystalline shape of the aluminum cone
- Extended frequency range (XR) and soft roll-off
- Excellent behavior with large signals
- Reduced VAS value (more bass sound from small enclosures)
JET technology – JET 5

Elac JET 5 – a unique tweeter
ELAC's JET 5 tweeter is widely featured in the manufacturer's speaker range. This high-frequency driver impresses with its lightning-fast response and wide dynamics, offering minimal distortion, ample headroom and a significantly wider frequency range than traditional dome tweeters. The ELAC JET tweeter is one of the most legendary tweeters in the industry and has received international praise for its transparent and effortless sound image.
