Combines monitor-like sound quality with a vast sound stage.
Features
Ear cushions with internal sound-absorbing element that promotes clear sound quality.
The ear cushions are an important part of the sound quality. When there is space between the ear cushion and the ear, the acoustic pressure of the low frequencies changes significantly, which greatly affects the sound quality. To achieve the best possible fit where space is difficult to create, we have used synthetic leather that is equally flexible in both horizontal and vertical directions, and selected a sponge with just the right amount of flexibility. The openings placed inside and outside the ear cushions produce clear sound quality with closed headphones.
BAM mechanism
The BAM (Balancing Air Movement) mechanism, developed for balanced anchor elements, has been implemented in the dynamic element. The idea behind the BAM mechanism is to optimize the pressure balance between the front and back of the membrane.
What is the BAM mechanism?
With Final, we decided to focus on developing technology for bass and three-dimensional space reproduction, utilizing a theoretically problem-free single full-range driver, rather than moving to a multi-voiced solution. We went back to basics and re-examined the performance of the balanced armature driver, paying attention to a previously overlooked factor – the airflow inside the cabinet. We developed BAM (Balancing Air Movement), a mechanism that optimizes the airflow inside the cabinet by creating an opening in the driver, which is usually closed. This allowed us to achieve bass and a deep, three-dimensional space that was previously challenging with a single driver, as well as a natural sound that does not burden the listener.
Rigid ABS housing with rough coating
The precision of the hard ABS housing was achieved through simulations until the correct fluidity level of the molding material was achieved. The housing uses a rough surface finish, also used in high-quality camera lenses, and unnecessary vibrations are dampened.
Titanium diaphragm headphone element integrated into the front panel
The SONOROUS series headphone driver is integrated into the front panel, which reduces resonance and enables clear sound quality. The housing is made of hard resin, which is made of hard polycarbonate with 30% glass fiber reinforcement. This structure dampens resonance and ensures clear sound quality. The diaphragm is made of titanium, which improves resolution and reproduction of high-frequency overtones.
Detachable cable with locking function
The headphones use a 3.5 mm metal-plated mono plug as the connector. The connector, proven reliable over years of use, prevents problems caused by poor connections over time. The cable has a locking mechanism that secures with a 90-degree rotation.
Sound quality
Headphones that stand out for their natural balance and sound field. The very well-balanced sound does not tire you out over long periods of listening, and they are suitable for many styles of music. Although they are monitor-style headphones, they are also enjoyable to use.
