Genelec 7360A SAM subwoofer
The Genelec 7360A SAM™ subwoofer provides accurate low-frequency monitoring for all analog and digital environments. It incorporates Genelec's AutoCal™ and GLM™ control network technologies.
Genelec's 7360A SAM™ subwoofer combines Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE™) enclosure technology with AutoCal™ calibration functionality and Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™) control software. AutoCal™ automatically calibrates the volume and time-of-flight compensation of each subwoofer connected to the system, and adjusts the subwoofers' frequency responses in the listening environment to compensate for distortions caused by room acoustics. The 7360A supports a distributed bass control architecture and it significantly increases the low frequency separation and performance of the monitoring system.
The 7360A has balanced input and output connections in 7.1 channel configuration for analog signal without an external A/D converter, making it a very cost-effective solution. The product also has a digital AES/EBU input connection and signal pass-through. In addition, it includes an efficient class D power amplifier, DSP-controlled dividers and an overdrive protection circuit.
Genelec's 7360A is an excellent tool for monitoring low frequencies in music studios, outdoor production vehicles, and radio and TV observatories.
