The new 8351B active DSP three-way loudspeaker is a significant improvement in performance over its award-winning predecessor, the 8351A. It features higher maximum sound pressure, more versatile room response correction, phase delay correction, and improved high-frequency reproduction.
The Ones family features give you a faster workflow and a reliable basis for your decision-making, while allowing you to work longer – the distortions in the sound image that cause listening fatigue are minimized. The directivity of the speakers remains controlled over an unusually wide frequency range thanks to the DCW directional driver that covers the entire front panel of the speaker. Thanks to two symmetrically placed bass drivers, the speaker is a completely point source of sound, you can place it vertically or horizontally without any crossover issues.
The 8351B naturally supports Genelec's GLM computer software, which can be used to calibrate and control even large speaker systems.
