Performance comparable to large systems in a compact size: G Four is suitable for many applications where a wide playback range is required but space is limited. G Four is ideal for listening to music or in a home theater environment, for example.

Like all Genelec G Series speakers, the G Four was designed in collaboration with designer Harri Koskinen and features an advanced Directivity Control Waveguide™ (DCW™), a fluid-optimized reflex tube structure, and an acoustically rigid aluminum enclosure. The robustness of the enclosure is completed by a wear-resistant paint finish and acoustically transparent, yet strong, speaker element protection grilles. Extremely low-distortion speaker elements, properly dimensioned 90-watt amplifiers, and carefully designed active crossovers complete the package. An overdrive protection circuit and versatile acoustic controls are standard features of the G Four. The G Four is easy to place in different locations. Its rear panel has, for example, threads for a wall or ceiling mount.

Carefully designed steep crossovers feed the signal to amplifiers specifically designed for extremely low distortion speaker drivers. Overdrive protection circuitry and versatile acoustic controls are standard on the G Four. ISS (Intelligent Signal Sensing) ensures that power consumption is kept to a minimum when the speaker is not in use. After automatically going into Standby mode, the speaker consumes less than 0.5W of power.

Each G Four comes with an Iso-Pod™ (Isolation Positioner/Decoupler™) table stand that eliminates sound coloration by isolating the speaker from the surface it is placed on. The Iso-Pod™ also makes it easy to align the speaker's acoustic axis towards the listener.
