The G One is a very versatile and compact two-way speaker designed especially for listening to music, computer use or compact home theaters. Thanks to the active speaker technology, the G One can be connected directly to the line-level output connectors of e.g. a computer's sound card, portable mp3 player, home theater amplifier or other audio system.

Developed in collaboration with designer Harri Koskinen, G One offers a complete package of Genelec's top technology: high-class speaker elements, power amplifiers, active crossover filters and electronic protection circuits guarantee professional-level sound enjoyment in all conditions. Every Genelec G One comes standard with an Iso-PodTM (Isolation Positioner/DecouplerTM) table stand. The Iso-PodTM is an ingenious placement stand that allows you to easily place the speaker in either a vertical or horizontal position. It also makes it possible to easily direct the speaker towards the listener, isolating the speaker both acoustically and mechanically from the surface on which it is placed.

The G One's bass reproduction reaches up to 67 hertz, and the distortion at bass frequencies has been exceptionally low thanks to the careful reflex housing design. The speaker's good directivity and accurate reproduction, together with its convenient size and versatile mounting options, enable G One to be used in a wide variety of applications. The ISS (Intelligent Signal Sensing) feature ensures that power consumption remains as low as possible when the speaker is not in use. After automatically going to Standby mode, the speaker's power consumption is less than 0.5W.

Together with the Genelec F One subwoofer, the G One forms a very powerful and brilliant stereo or surround speaker combination.
