New element design
The improved element design of the Prestige X series includes a new magnetic circuit, as well as a voice coil that has been renewed to improve efficiency and harmonic integrity and to minimize distortion.
New cable design
In the Prestige X series, the cable design has been completely renewed with comfort in mind, offering more durability and flexibility. The 8-conductor (SR125X, SR225X, SR325X) and 4-conductor (SR60X, SR80X) cables now have a very attractive braided cable with a pure copper conductor inside, which improves the purity of the audio signal.
Redesigned headband
The Grado SR60X headset uses a new artificial leather headband that increases comfort and reduces listening fatigue. Not to mention the Grado Presitge flagship model SR325X, which still has a leather headband.
Characteristics of Grado
The open structure of the headphone makes it very immune to transient distortion and produces a very impressive frequency band and Grado's characteristic mid-range reproduction. The SR60X produces a warm and rich sound with impressive dynamics. The treble reproduction of the headset is again very soft.
