10" active subwoofer

The E-Sub bass elements utilize JL Audio's exclusive DMA technology, which allows the element's motor power to be optimized, which guarantees a very linear trajectory with a long movement deviation. Unlike traditional modeling methods, DMA takes into account the dynamic variations of the power supply with real music material. As an advantage of the technology, the element stays with you when listening loud as well as quietly, unlike many traditional subwoofers that so-called they only 'open' when the tap is turned more freely.

The extreme immersion depth of the element is appropriate and it enables the suspension and the double spiders to be at a sufficient distance from each other and from the cone, which enables a really long trajectory and a minimal distortion value and improves the service life.

A lot of power

A completely new type of amplifier module was designed as the leader of the innovative element, with special attention paid to the power source. Thanks to its efficient design, the amplifier module is both light and compact without compromising on performance, and is thus capable of producing an unbridled amount of clean power to the element.

In terms of features, the E-Sub is suitable for both stereo and multi-channel systems and it accepts the signal at both line and speaker level, which means that it can be connected to the amplifier as well as the amplifier without spacers, and thanks to the comprehensive adjustment features, it is easy to adjust the acoustics of the room.

Control and adaptability

The subwoofer's active crossover filter utilizes a fourth-order Linkwitz-Riley type filter whose low-pass filter feeds the signal to the subwoofer, eliminating the higher frequencies from the signal sent to the subwoofer that are reproduced from the actual speakers so that overlapping and mutually canceling sound waves do not occur. In addition to this, the crossover has a phase reversal so that the adaptation to the speakers is perfect. The crossover filter can also be bypassed when the subwoofer's adjustments and cuts are to be made from the AV amplifier, in which case the subwoofer will receive the signal of exactly the band that you yourself set the amplifier to be routed to the lfe channel.
