At its best, the JVC LX-NZ30 4K/HDR projector has only a 6.25ms delay and supports up to 1080p/240 Hz frame rate. In addition, it uses the new high-power BLU-Escent laser light source, which produces 3300 lumens of light and lasts up to 20,000 hours of use. Both HDR10 and HLG formats are supported, and the picture mode is selected automatically. JVC's unique automatic tone mapping function automatically adjusts the final result to produce an optimal HDR image. Best bits: The high-efficiency BLU-Escent laser light source produces 3300 lumens and a lifetime of up to 20,000 hours. A new 105W blue laser diode assembly replaces the previous 95W model, allowing for a high brightness of 3,300 lumens. This is a 10 percent improvement over the previous model (LX-NZ3). High brightness enables use in rooms with plenty of light and light surfaces, and increases peak brightness during HDR projection.
The new LX-NZ30 projects HDR content sharp and dynamic. In addition to HDR 10 used in the ULTRA HD Blu-ray format, the projector also supports HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma). The projector recognizes the signal and automatically switches to the best image mode, so you can enjoy HDR content without adjusting individual settings.
The LX-NZ30 supports up to 1080P/240Hz input with the best latency of only 6.25ms (1.5 frames). Thanks to this, you can enjoy the game content with a much higher frame rate than what standard projectors offer, and as a result, you'll see smooth motion reproduction on the largest screens.
Extensive support for 4K signals including 4K/60p 4:4:4/36bit, 4K/60p 4:2:2/36bit and 4K/24p 4:4:4/36bit - great color space and beautiful color gradients.
The LX-NZ30 is equipped with ± 60% vertical and ± 23% horizontal lens shift, as well as a wide zoom for flexible mounting. The 1.6x zoom enables, for example, a projection distance of 3 to 4.8 meters on a 100-inch screen, so the distance is just perfect for typical rooms. In addition to the keystone adjustment that corrects the horizontal, vertical and tilt angles, the projector's versatile adjustments can be used to correct geometry errors in the corners of the canvas.
The laser light source can change its light output in the blink of an eye, which enables dynamic brightness adjustment with less delay compared to a traditional mechanical aperture. When the power of the laser is controlled according to the brightness of the scene, black is reproduced deeper and the image reproduced by the projector is closer to human visual perception.
Equipped with a 0.47-inch Full-HD DMD chip and four-way e-shift technology, the LX-NZ30 displays a sharp 4K image with over 8 million individually drawn pixels on the screen.
The compact size of the projector, which is available in black or white, enables optimal installation both in a dedicated home theater space and in a normal living room.
