No matter how you stream your music, the LS50 Wireless II is your choice. You can stream directly from the Spotify native app with Spotify Connect. With the KEF Connect app, you can also stream Tidal, Amazon Music, Qobuz and Deezer or tune in to internet radio and podcasts. AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast support ensure that you can play your favorite music easily. The HDMI eARC connection brings easy usability with the TV - you no longer need two remote controls for the TV's sound reproduction.
KEF has not forgotten the audiophiles. The LS50 Wireless II speakers support streaming of 24-bit/384kHz music files. MQA, DSD256 and Roon Ready support make hifi enthusiasts wonder about the exceptional features and performance of the speakers. Revolutionary metamaterial absorption technology eliminates distortion for a purer, more natural sound, while the 12th generation Uni-Q MAT driver delivers three-dimensional, wonderfully revealing sound in any room. The built-in amplifiers have also been renewed. The tweeter is driven by a 100 W class A/B amplifier, which produces smooth, incredibly detailed reproduction. A separate 280 W class D amplifier drives the mid/bass driver. The speaker fills the room with controlled sound and up to 108 dB sound pressure.
The LS50 Wireless II is easy to set up thanks to the new KEF Connect app. It's intuitive to use with any audio source in your home and allows for simple over-the-air firmware updates that bring you new and improved features with minimal effort. From the KEF Connect application, you can adjust the intuitive sound settings with which you can tune the sound to your own taste. Select your favorite source to wake up the LS50 Wireless II, allowing you to instantly enjoy your favorite music.
When you use the LS50 Wireless II with Airplay 2, Chromecast or Roon, you can stream to multiple speakers in your home at the same time. In this way, you can easily create a multi-room system that is simple but powerful.
Every aspect of the LS50 Wireless II has been taken into account with acoustic benefits and a design perspective. The low-diffraction, curved front panel is precisely modeled around the Uni-Q driver, while striking heatsinks and color-matched reflex ports are located at the back of the speaker. The control panel on top of the speaker is designed to be stylish and functional.
