The new Q Series utilises the 12th generation Uni-Q driver and for the first time in this price range, KEF's Meta technology has been introduced, taking playback to an even purer level.
The new Q series is built around KEF's 12th generation Uni-Q driver. KEF has been developing this driver since the 1980s. However, KEF has added a lot of technology to the new Q series from its more expensive R, Reference and Blade ranges. Uni-Q is KEF's key innovation, enabling the entire most important frequency range to be reproduced from the same driver, but even more importantly compared to other coaxial drivers, from exactly the same acoustic point.
