The Klipsch RP-1400SW active subwoofer is part of the manufacturer's best Reference Premier product family. It is based on the manufacturer's strong acoustic expertise and is the best subwoofers Klipsch has ever made.
The amplifier power is 500 W continuous and 1000 W instantaneous, the amplifier stage is class D, which means it has excellent efficiency. The analog preamplifier stage does not cause delay like DSP solutions, and the powerful power amplifier ensures maximum sound pressure levels, resolution and strong torque in the lowest frequencies.
The 14-inch woofer and reflex port face forward, allowing you to place the Klipsch Reference Premier subwoofer anywhere in your room. The Aerofoil reflex port minimizes turbulence and compression, ensuring accurate and controlled bass reproduction that doesn't get blocked even at the lowest frequencies.
Crossover, phase and volume controls allow you to tailor the subwoofer to your space and the other speakers you use. Both the RCA connections and the wireless receiver input can be used simultaneously, allowing you to connect one subwoofer to multiple systems. The familiar and safe RCA connectors ensure compatibility with all home theater amplifiers, and the power consumption of only 0.5W in stand-by mode ensures that no power is wasted when the subwoofer is not in use.

The ebony-look vinyl coating on the cabinet surface is durable and does not scratch easily. In addition, the woofer's protective mesh frame is double the thickness of the previous one, so that the cone of the very long-throw element does not catch on the fabric even at full speed.
