The new VC-E2 is a new compact dishwasher with new great features. Vinyl records require special maintenance. A carbon fiber brush is good for removing dust before playing the record. To effectively clean the grooves, you need to clean the disc.
A suitable cleaning fluid is required to achieve complete cleaning. We designed a new environmentally friendly, alcohol-free cleaning liquid called "Wash it 2". The new Pro-Ject Wash it 2 is a pre-mixed liquid, so you no longer need to dilute the concentrate yourself. This avoids the mixing of unsuitable tap water (limestone / acidity). With Wash it 2, we can optimize the cleaning power. The VC-E2 is a very efficient washer, cleaning the discs completely in one or two washing cycles.

The new magnetic clamp not only protects the disc label from the cleaning fluid, but also speeds up the entire cleaning process. Place your disc in the machine, attach the clamp and you are ready to wash - no more tedious tightening of the disc by screwing. The robust, easy-to-use metal arm is mechanically stable and concentrates all the suction power directly on the plate surface. Together with the new self-adhesive felt, your board will be cleaned perfectly. The inner tank (0.5 liters) collects the used liquid and is effortlessly easy to empty. When using the Wash it 2 cleaning liquid, the liquid also evaporates in the container, so emptying the container is rarely a problem. VC-E2 is a compact and affordable record washing machine. Despite its small size and high price, the Pro-Ject VC-E2 offers a lot of features:

• The aluminum surface of the VC-E2 is very resistant to excessive liquid leakage without endangering the body of the device itself.
• VC-E2 is very fast and efficient: powerful suction removes dirt in 1-2 rotations, i.e. in a few seconds. The recommendation is 1 turn clockwise and 1 turn counter-clockwise.
• The VC-E2 spins the disc quickly, 2 seconds per revolution, which is about three times faster than similar washers. This makes washing the plates faster, and thanks to the efficient suction, the final result is a cleaner and 100% dry plate: no moisture remains on the plates. So no "evaporation" after washing before putting the disc in the inner bag!
• The magnetic disc clamp locks the disc tightly and protects the label from washing liquid
