Marantz engineers have developed the Grand Horizon, drawing on over 70 years of expertise. It is created for people who appreciate exceptionally beautiful design and powerful performance. With innovative amplifier and driver technology, the Grand Horizon delivers a superior listening experience through an intuitive user interface. Tuned by a Marantz Sound Master, the sound is at home in larger living spaces. The Grand Horizon is available in Moon Ray, Midnight Sky and Marantz Champagne finishes, each of which is matched with a beautiful marble stand.
AuraControl™
The Grand Horizon features Marantz’s touch-sensitive AuraControl™ control ring, which adjusts volume and has three brightness levels to complement your home’s lighting. The Grand Horizon is highly intuitive to use, and is equipped with proximity sensors and ambient light detection, so it stays at the ideal brightness no matter the situation. The Marantz AuraControl™ features can be adjusted via the HEOS app, which also offers settings and control for a range of Marantz products, while maintaining compatibility with other HEOS Built-in enabled products.
Radiance™ 360° Seamless EcoFiber
The Grand Horizon is elegantly wrapped in Marantz Radiance™ 360° Seamless EcoFiber fabric. Marantz designers turned to the fashion industry to develop a speaker fabric that met the engineers’ exacting specifications. The result is a fabric made from recycled ocean plastic that is seamless and luxurious, yet durable and acoustically transparent.
Rise™
The Marantz Rise™ amplifier in the Grand Horizon is Marantz’s next-generation technology. It’s a so-called GaN FET switching amplifier that delivers unparalleled speed and efficiency. Its unique design ensures lightning-fast response to small and large signal changes, allowing it to accurately amplify audio signals for a superior listening experience. Marantz Gravity™ drivers use neodymium magnets to deliver powerful, distortion-free sound. The drivers' uniquely shaped paper cone with radial ridges unleashes the power of the amplifiers in an optimal way. A carefully designed array of silk dome tweeters and midranges work in conjunction with the Marantz Mirage DSP algorithm to create an exceptional, room-filling soundscape.
