Marmitek's HDMI ARC converter is a particularly welcome novelty for owners of, for example, Genelec active speakers. Unfortunately, many pairs of active speakers are connected to the TV's headphone jack, which is the weakest compromise in terms of sound quality and often also visually, when you want to keep the number of devices as low as possible.
The Marmitek ARC13 is a very compact device that is installed between the TV's HDMI ARC connection and active speakers (or power amplifier and passive speakers). With its miniature size, the device remains invisible either behind the TV or furniture. Thanks to the high-quality DA converter and preamplification, the sound quality remains clean and clear. The TV's own remote control adjusts the volume. ARC13 also includes a headphone connection, which is missing from a surprising number of televisions these days.
