The Impression ESL 11A belongs to MartinLogan's Masterpiece series. The goal of the Masterpiece series is to make the sound reproduction feel artistic, and it has succeeded.
The speaker's two 8-inch bass elements with a 275-watt class D amplifier, driven by Vojtko's 24-bit DSP engine, leave no one cold. The bass reproduction seamlessly blends into the precise and clean sound reproduction of the 11-inch wide XStat CLS (Curvilinear Line Source) panel. Room correction of bass frequencies helps considerably in matching the speakers to the room
MartinLogans are used on a wide scale, from robust transistor amplifiers to tube amplifiers. Quality has its price, but in the case of Impression, the investment is easily justified.
