With many ideas in mind, I reached out to our community, eager to gather their feedback in any way I could. I wanted to dive into their hearts and minds, to understand their expectations, and so their input is what shaped the path toward Empyrean II. What followed was a test of Patience and precision. At first, the possibilities seemed endless, but reality showed us that only a few of our plans were feasible. We made a lot of revisions to discover the right proportions and materials that would deliver the sound signature we aimed for."

ART MEETS CRAFTSMANSHIP
A natural progression from our first magnetoplanar headset, Empyrean II retains all the beloved elements of its iconic predecessor, while adding a touch of sculptural elegance. The precision CNC-milled matte black body features stunning silver accents, and the redesigned grille is inspired by bold and timeless art deco patterns.
"As good as the initial design looked, the headphones we thought were finally proven to be fragile. The aluminum Grill wasn't turning out that great, there was an Unexpected structural failure, and we were changing the colors almost daily, struggling to decide upon the perfect combination. A lot of determination, a few more iterations and we finally nailed it – Empyrean II."

Empyrean II embodies the fruitful collaboration of two passionate companies, exploring the new possibilities of audio technology without preconceptions. Our engineering team has masterfully harnessed the power of Rinaro's Isodynamic Hybrid Array driver to achieve a new level of sound quality.
ISODYNAMIC HYBRID ARRAY© ELEMENT ARCHITECTURE
The Isodynamic Hybrid Driver combines reciprocating and spiral voice coils in the same driver, allowing for more precise sound targeting based on the natural characteristics of the ear. The technology is patented in the US, EU and China.
ACCURATE REPRODUCTION
Total harmonic distortion is less than 0.1% over the entire frequency range.
LEVITY
Even lighter parts enable accurate playback and long listening sessions.
ERGONOMIC SHAPE
Ergonomically designed element with a larger active surface area.
VERY HIGH RESOLUTION
The frequency response extends to 110 kilohertz.
[MZ3] HYBRID MAGNETIC SYSTEM
Neodymium magnets, symmetrically placed on both sides of the diaphragm, create an effective isodynamic magnetic field, which is needed to move the element diaphragm evenly and comprehensively.
RINARO ISOPLANAR® MEMBRANE
Weighs only 0.16 g, but has an active surface area of 4650 mm2.
[MZ3] FRAME
Fiberglass-reinforced ABS plastic allows for a highly precision-machined and rigid frame.
INTELLIGENT MANAGEMENT OF ISOPLANAR® MEMBRANE
A reciprocating voice coil, which is more effective at reproducing lower frequencies, is located at the top of the driver. A spiral coil, which is more effective at reproducing midrange and high frequencies, is positioned directly in the ear canal to reproduce the most critical areas of hearing with full resolution.
ISOMAGNETIC® EARCUPS AND EARCUSHIONS CONNECTION TECHNOLOGY
Rinaro's Isomagnetic® coupling technology makes it easy to change ear pads. It uses the magnetic field generated by the driver to lock the ear cup in place, while at the same time directing the stray magnetic field back to the driver, improving efficiency.

DUO EARCUSHIONS
The all-new Duo ear cushions are tailored specifically for the Empyrean II. Crafted from a premium blend of leather and Alcantara, the Duo ear cushions bring a modern dimension to the Empyrean II’s signature sound profile. With leather forming the base and Alcantara covering the rest, these ear cushions create a harmonious balance that works beautifully across all genres of music.
We researched and tested different material ratios to achieve the best possible result: impressive bass reproduction is due to the leather, and Alcantara brings beautiful sophistication and spacious spatial reproduction.
Slanted ALCANTARA EARCUSHIONS
The angular ear cushions, made of soft foam covered in Alcantara and featuring a fine mesh grille, perfectly reproduce the intricate details and nuances of recordings. The beveled shape creates more space inside the ear cushion, resulting in airier sound, clearer bass and a more present midrange. Together with the Empyrean II, they create a detailed, airy and precise listening experience for audiophile use.
