The Gold 100 6G is a large three-way floorstanding speaker. It reproduces deep and extended bass, accurate midrange and lively, natural treble. The latest MPD III tweeter, all-new 3” midrange and powerful 8” woofer utilize HDT and C-CAM cone technology and robust motors. The HiVe II reflex tube improves airflow and the steel/durably cast front plate dampens resonances. The result is a high-quality, effortless sound image.

Technology in a nutshell
- 1 New HDT C-CAM Cone - Modeled after the RDT III cone technology of the Platinum range and the flagship Hyphn, the HDT cone uses a honeycomb layer to make the cone maximally stiff in desired areas and controlled flexibility in desired areas.
- 2 New 6- and 8-inch woofers (Gold 3-way models) - Made with HDT C-CAM cones, FEA-optimized outer and inner cone suspensions, and longer voice coils, the woofers operate linearly over a wider sound pressure range and reduce distortion for even cleaner, tighter-kicking bass.
- 3 New 6-inch bass-midrange (Gold 50 and Gold On-Wall) - With an HDT C-CAM cone, FEA-optimized outer and inner cone suspensions, and a copper short-circuit ring in the motor, the new 6-inch bass-midrange reproduces cleanly up to higher frequencies. This reduces distortion in the midrange and creates a cleaner-sounding two-way speaker than before.
- 4 New 3-inch midrange driver - A very powerful neodymium magnet-based motor, progressively pleated internal suspension, improved voice coil cooling - all of these contribute to the fact that the Gold 6G's midrange driver produces less distortion, is more sensitive, has a cleaner tone, and is precisely suited to its purpose in terms of directivity.
- 5 New aluminum midrange enclosure - Behind the midrange driver is a metal closed rear enclosure that isolates the sensitive driver from the volume of the bass enclosure. This optimizes midrange performance without the need for a separate, space-consuming bass enclosure in the actual speaker cabinet.
- 6 New MPD III tweeter - The Gold 6G's tweeter is based directly on the MPD III ribbon tweeter in the Hyphn and Platinum 3G and has been optimized to work as well as possible in the sixth generation of the Gold range. The upper limit of the reproduction of a typical pleated ribbon tweeter, or AMT, element is around 40 kHz, but in the third generation of the MPD, or Micro Pleated Diaphragm, element, this has been stretched to 60 kHz. This also means even cleaner operation in the auditory range. An integrated reflector optimized for the MPD III completes the operation.
- 7 Enclosure design - In the Gold 100 6G and Gold 500 6G models, the tweeter element has been raised higher in the enclosure using an aluminum mounting plate, which has reduced enclosure diffraction in the widest speaker models. This ensures that the stereo image remains remarkably accurate throughout the entire speaker range.
- 8 Newly designed crossover - The room always has a significant impact on the sound of a speaker, and in the sixth generation Gold range this has been taken into account even more in the crossover design. Consideration of placement is particularly important for wall models such as the Gold On-Wall speaker, which is closer to custom install speakers than traditional hi-fi.
