Compact performance
Part of NAD’s new CI Modular series, the CI S1 is designed with minimal rack space requirements (1/3 width x 1U height) and offers virtually unlimited audio content, along with a built-in audiophile-grade ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M DAC. BluOS compatible out of the box, stream from over 20 natively integrated music services and access global internet radio, stream content from Bluetooth or Apple AirPlay2 devices, and physically connect and share content with other digital or analog devices. Control your playback sources, anytime, anywhere, via BluOS or any popular control system with integrated driver support, including Control4, Crestron, URC, RTI, NICE, Lutron and KNX. Monitor device status remotely via our broader ecosystem partner Domotz.
Add streaming to your new or retrofit system
Although the CS S1 is a single-zone streaming device, it offers additional flexibility through a main zone/sub zone configuration option, where two preamp outputs can feed the same stream to two amplified outputs with separate volume controls. With wall mounting holes, dual rack mounting brackets, tool-less locking rack mount construction, and rubber feet for surface mounting, the device offers integrators the ultimate in versatility and delivers modern streaming solutions for any installation and application. The CI S1 is the easiest and most space-saving way to add streaming, connectivity, and audio zone control to a new or existing installation.
Abundant connections
The CI S1 features a comprehensive range of inputs and outputs, ensuring that any source, whether cloud or streaming, can be connected and streamed wherever the customer wants. With Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, digital and analogue audio inputs with signal detection, sub output, and a configurable 12V trigger input and 12V trigger output, it offers integrators unprecedented flexibility in connectivity.
