Remastered shit
Naim streaming platform
At the heart of the 2nd generation Mu-so is Naim's music streaming platform, developed by 25 engineers over three years to deliver the best possible performance, whether you're playing your own digital music collection, the world of Internet radio or music streaming services like TIDAL and Spotify. This acclaimed innovation is unique to Naim's music streaming devices such as the Uniti range and network players such as the prestigious flagship streamer ND 555.
DSP - The heart of the system
An all-new multi-core digital signal processor (DSP) boosts performance to 2000 MIPS computing capability (million operations per second), compared to the original Mu-so's single-core 150 MIPS DSP. Now you can hear your music even more.
We've also created a brand new limiting algorithm that keeps the movement of every element of the new Mu-so under control when the volume is exceptionally high. Active only at extreme volume levels, the new limiter helps preserve music clarity and improves long-term reliability.
An even wider range of convenient features
The 2nd generation Mu-so literally bursts with features that raise performance and functionality to a new level. Mu-so is also actively updated if the need arises. Enjoy your music the way you want.
Optimized speaker elements
Winged by Mu-so's 450 watts of music power, the system pulses with very precisely optimized new speaker elements that were born from a joint product development project between Naim and Focal designers.
Focal has been creating acoustic excellence since 1979, and its expertise has taken element precision and performance to a new level.
Discover the new intuitive user interface
The new intuitive interface features 15 touch-sensitive buttons and a bold, illuminated volume control wheel with a proximity sensor that wakes the screen. Just bring your hand close and the user interface will magically come to life.
95% redesigned
The premium aluminum case and new polished gray finish may look the same as the first Mu-so at first glance, but most of the internal components of the new Mu-so have been updated to improve performance.
The design of the case has been renewed to increase the internal volume by up to 13%, which allows for a stronger and better bass. Both the case stiffeners and the molded front wall have been redesigned to be even stiffer, which dampens and suppresses vibrations.
The signature cooling fins are now more compact, but still very efficient, and they still feature Naim's patented technology, where the Wi-Fi antenna is discreetly integrated.
Updated control application
With the updated Naim app, you can browse music by artist, genre and albums, among other things, even enhanced with album art and extended music information. You can control volume, device lighting, multi-room playback and create playlists.
