Versatile features, Dirac room corrector and good sound quality – Onkyo TX-RZ70
Onkyo's new home theater amplifiers have finally arrived in Finland. The flagship of the collection, the TX-RZ70, includes support for the latest multi-channel audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS-X. The Dirac room corrector, which represents the absolute top of the market, adapts your speaker system to the acoustic characteristics of your room, and up to 11.2 channel processing guarantees that even larger Dolby Atmos ensembles are created from the amplifier. The TX-RZ70 itself contains amplifiers for all 11 channels, and the pre-out connections of all channels enable the use of active speakers and external power amplifiers if desired.
Dirac Live room corrector
Dirac Live room correction represents the absolute top of the room corrections on the market. The Onkyo TX-RZ70 includes Dirac's full Live level license, which enables processing of the entire frequency band without separate and paid additional licenses. The amplifier is supplied with its own measuring microphone, in addition to which you only need an Android or Apple phone or tablet to perform the calibration. If you want to squeeze the last bits of performance out of your system, you can also get a separate pro-level microphone that can be connected to a PC or Apple computer via USB. With the help of this microphone and the downloadable Dirac application for your computer, you can further fine-tune and polish the room corrector settings - you can also order these as a service from us.
Dirac Live requires a working internet connection during calibration. When the calibration is completed, the internet connection is no longer mandatory.
11.2 channel processing and line level outputs.
The TX-RZ70 includes Power Stages for all 11 channels and 11.2 pre out connections. Each channel has its own line-level (RCA) output to which you can connect either an external amplifier or an active speaker.
HDMI 2.1 / 8K support
Onkyo TX-RZ70 supports HDMI 2.1 profile. The amplifier has support for the eARC audio return channel, different HDR formats, up to 8K60 / 4K120 image resolutions and refresh rates. The amplifier also has two independent HDMI outputs, so you can send a different picture to the TV in the living room than to the TV in the children's room.
Support for the most popular music streaming services and wireless transfer technologies.
The Onkyo TX-RZ70 natively supports the most popular online streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, etc. In addition, you can play music and other audio through the amplifier via Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay. The amplifier also supports two-way Bluetooth, i.e. it can both send and receive signals via Bluetooth, this is a handy feature e.g. when using wireless Bluetooth headphones.
