TPE-damped and anti-magnetic - The heavy aluminum platter has an embedded TPE (Thermo Plastic Elastomer) damping ring to dampen unwanted resonances. The optimal combination of mass and damping!

The new Debut EVO 2 features an 8.6" one-piece carbon fiber tonearm. The extremely stiff, yet lightweight tonearm delivers great sound quality and a convincing sound image, as it combines the properties of an ideal tonearm tube. Carbon fiber achieves both stiffness and lightness.

NEW PICK IT MM EVO VOICEBOX

The new Pick it MM EVO cartridge completes the Debut EVO 2's superb sound quality. It not only complements the lightweight tonearm in terms of sound, but it also looks great on the turntable. Our turntable experts once again worked with the cartridge experts at Danish manufacturer Ortofon on this new cartridge. The Pick It MM EVO is made from a unique combination of technologies. One of them is Ortofon's famous "split pole pins" voice coils. This allows it to have a flat frequency response comparable to MC cartridges.

THE BEAUTY OF THE NORTH

We love a clean look, and not just on the top of the player. The new Debut EVO 2 is the first turntable to have the connector housing and power plug recessed into the body of the player. The result speaks for itself: we tried to avoid all hollow structures, as they can cause resonances. For the same reason, we only use the best MDF for the body of the player, not cheap chipboard.

PREMIUM CABLES AND CONNECTORS

The gold-plated RCA connectors on the Debut EVO 2 always provide the best contact. The included Connect it Phono E RCA is made of high-quality materials. It is semi-symmetrical in design, meaning that the shielding is only connected at one end. Therefore, the yellow marking on the cable should be connected to the end receiving the signal to minimize interference.
RCA output connectors allow you to change and upgrade your turntable cable if you wish. You can also upgrade the Debut EVO 2 to our True Balanced technology, which means its output signal is balanced. To take advantage of True Balanced Connection technology, you need an MC cartridge or the Pro-Ject Pick it PRO Balanced cartridge, the only balanced MM cartridge available.

Our high-quality AC motor is mounted in the instrument's frame with the latest development in motor damping. This is a proven method of eliminating the transmission of motor vibrations to the frame.

Pure power

DC/AC generator
The generator on the motor control board generates a new, completely pure sine wave for the motor. This ensures a very precise power supply, which improves the stability of the rotation speed. This is also heard in the sound!

Belt drive
