These sets of hinges are screwed into the back of the turntable. With the hinge set, the dust cover opens and closes easily, staying open even at "intermediate heights".
The hinges are made of smooth metal, which enables easy removal of the dust cover. If necessary, the release friction can be reduced with e.g. a small drop of oil or e.g. dishwashing liquid.
