The platter is one of the essential parts of a quality turntable. It must be heavy to ensure a stable speed and minimal wobble and vibration. It must also be resonance-free to ensure clean playback. In addition, the platter must be antimagnetic so that it does not affect the tonearms.

High-end heavy die-cast aluminum platters, such as the PRO platter, are very expensive, so you only see them in turntables in the 2,000 euro price range. We now offer a great platter for our entry-level turntables as well. This is a great sound upgrade for all of our entry-level turntables!
