The RPM-1 Carbon includes several innovative improvements and novelties: Low resonance frequency of the body, ceramic inverted plate bearing reduces rumble. The external 15V AC motor and its control with an AC generator guarantee a stable rotation speed.
The completely new S-Äänivarsi is made of carbon fiber and aluminum. A complex 3-stage manufacturing process that uses heat and 100 bar pressure increases the stiffness of the tonearm, improves damping and reduces resonances. Thanks to this, the tonearm is also suitable for MC boxes.
In addition, the new anti-skating magnet and the TPE-damped counterweight make this instrument a "high-end" instrument in its price range.
