Pro-Ject T1 EVO Bluetooth: A new generation record player

Pro-Ject T1 EVO BT is an updated turntable from the T collection. In the new EVO version, the sound box is one quality class better, the Ortofon OM-10E and the bluetooth transmitter has been updated to HD quality with the BT 5.0 aptX HD version. The selection of rotation speed is now also done electronically. The purpose of the T1 collection is to produce really high-quality sound on a small budget. The instrument is carefully designed with minimal compromises from high-quality materials. The goal has been to produce a well-maintained record player that is able to play records warmly, but with distinction.

T1 EVO BT is the most versatile product in the T1 model series. In addition to the built-in turntable pre-amplifier (RIAA), it also has a Bluetooth transmitter for wireless audio transmission, now with the aptX 5.0 version in HD quality. The record player also has a normal line output, if the connected amplifier already has a RIAA front amplifier.

The belt drive of the T1 turntables has been redesigned. The bearing of the precision-cast washer is ultra-precise. Made from stainless steel and brass, the bearing has a dimensional accuracy of 0.001mm - the same as our coveted Essential III turntables!

The tonearm construction of the T1 model series is a new design based on previous Pro-Ject models. Its sleek 8.6-inch long stem is made from a single rigid piece of aluminum. The shaft bearing has low friction, but no backlash. The sound box slide integrated into the stem is rigidly constructed and does not produce its own vibrations in the same way as removable, screwed or glued sound box slides.

The T1 EVO BT is delivered with an OM 10E moving magnet type sound box manufactured by Ortofon. OM 10E is equipped with an elliptically ground diamond needle. This point has not been spared either.

In addition, the instrument is finished with a well-shielded, semi-symmetrical and low-capacitance intermediate wire. This is not a standard RCA cable, but Pro-Ject's Connect It E designed for turntable use. The device is also supplied with a dust cover for the player and a felt record mat.

The T1 EVO BT is a real miracle in its price range. This genuine hi-fi class record player, designed with decades of experience, is still manufactured in Europe. The T1 EVO BT looks and sounds great!
