QED Reference Analogue XLR 40
The multiple award-winning QED Reference 40 Audio cable ensures exceptionally high performance from today's hi-fi equipment.
The balanced XLR version is a popular and reasonably priced premium cable, for example for connection between a preamplifier and power amplifier or active speakers.
Floating ferrite jacket
The Audio 40 cable uses a special floating Zn / Mn ferrite jacket that absorbs very high frequency interference outside of the audible audio signal, which also adversely affects the micro timing of the audible audio signal. Measured at very high frequencies, Audio 40 cables have an overwhelmingly cleaner signal transmission than typical cables.
Tri-Conductor technology
Top-class protection with twisted triple conductors. Unlike conventional analog connectors, the Reference Analogue XLR 40 uses three conductors made of silver-plated 99.999% oxygen-free copper.
