Supra EXCALIBUR USB2.0 AB cable
Excalibur is a top-of-the-line USB cable with improved data and power transfer, and is the ideal complement to Supra's current, highly popular USB range. Both the data pair and the power pair are optimised for their purpose. The twisted data pair is made of PE-insulated silver-plated copper conductors. The silver layer is very thick, 3.8% of the entire conductor, which ensures the best conductivity and a high rate factor. Silver is ideal for high frequencies and fast data transfer. The construction of the power conductors is completely different from that of the data pair. To avoid power losses and maximise the surface area of the conductor, Supra uses four tinned conductors in a star configuration. The star configuration and separate shielding significantly reduce susceptibility to RFI effects. The USB connectors are the descendants of Supra's highly regarded HDMI connector. They are fully protected by aluminum, and the connector body is removable to allow the cable to be routed in 12-millimeter pipes - without removing or damaging the high-quality factory termination contacts! So no on-site cutting and re-soldering that would compromise the Supra's signature top-notch performance.
