Supra GSB-TV interference suppressor for antenna cable
Humming, noise, sparks, uneven picture? In many cases, interference in transmissions is caused by different ground potentials of electrical devices, which are equalized along the signal cables. The mains power, TV and radio antennas, the internet or other devices are not grounded to a single, stable ground point, so the ground potential is different. This leads to a voltage difference between the ground points, which is equalized via the signal cable, thus creating interference in the signal itself.
By adding this interference suppressor, the ground loop is completely galvanically isolated in a 1:1 ratio, meaning that the potential difference between the transmitter and receiver does not affect the signal. The result is a completely clean signal!
Another similar problem can occur if the devices are connected to each other by a signal cable, but the power sources are in opposite phase. The stray capacitance due to the phase difference can therefore cause interference in the system, especially at high frequencies. Please note that the interference suppressor only removes the ground loop caused by the potential difference in the antenna cable.
