With Supra's ZAC (Zero Attenuation) concept, plastic fibers can be used losslessly in optical cables. The quality of data transmission remains the same as when using fiberglass, but the cable remains very durable and flexible. An optical cable with Toslink connectors is suitable for digital data transmission between most devices, such as a TV and an amplifier.
Features of the Supra ZAC TOSLINK fiber cable:
- Light cable - significantly better bending resistance and strain relief
- High bandwidth, up to 32 bit/384 kHz - enables a studio-quality digital signal
- Immune to interference - does not transmit or receive interference, thus keeping the signal clean all the way
- No radiation
- Immune to electrical disturbances - does not cause network hum etc. problems with analog cables
- Complete galvanic isolation - Enables connection between devices with separate ground potentials and phases, e.g. computer, TV and home theater
- Connectors - Toslink x2
