Violectric's new entry-level balanced headphone amplifier
The Violectric HPA V222 is the latest result of the development of a balanced headphone amplifier and the acclaimed V200 circuit together with the HPA V202 headphone amplifier.
The technology of the HPA V222 builds on the roots of its award-winning predecessors (V200, V220, V280 and V281). The recipe for success is still Violectric's ability to create high-performance devices that produce a natural and pleasant sound. The HPA V222, like all Violectric devices, is handcrafted in Konstanz, southern Germany.
Features of HPA V222: Low noise due to very low internal gain. The amplifier's own noise is not audible to the ear and disturbs the listening experience.
High output voltage via 50V internal operating voltage. Therefore, it is perfect for high-impedance headphones that deserve a large output voltage swing.
High output power thanks to powerful amplifiers that offer much more power than even the most demanding headphones would need. HPA V222 is also suitable for low-impedance headphones and magnetostats.
High damping factor due to very low output impedance. That's why the HPA V222 is an ideal pair for hard-to-drive headphones with no negative side effects and guaranteed uncompromising frequency response.
