The speaker has an open cast aluminum body that also acts as a cooling element for the speaker. The DD Audio AM-3a also has a powerful double neodymium magnet and a 1″ CCA voice coil. The Element's aluminum cone, combined with the butyl rubber dust cup, provides a neutral sound and precision that only a very stiff cone can provide.
