DD Audio Redline 710d D4
The completely renewed Redline 700 series subwoofers have many things that make them better than their predecessors. Newly designed cast frames and suspension geometry enable a lower Fs value and a larger range of motion. These two things give you MORE LOW BASS.
The renewed voice coils have greater heat resistance than before, reduced inductance and better efficiency. Thanks to these things, you get a more balanced reproduction, more sound with the same amplifier and more power endurance.
The red double stitching that used to be characteristic of the DD Redline is no longer there, instead there is a red stripe or redline at the junction of the cone and the hot-cast multi-layer upper suspension. The logo of the dust cup is made of reflective metal foil. All cones and dust cups have a matte black finish. Cast frames have DD logos cast on them.
Triple venting of the voice coil, wires braided into a triple underlay, laminated multiple underlays and extended pole pieces, which have always made DD subwoofers such functional entities, can still be found in the new models.
The new Redline 700 series is available with 2x2 or 2x4 ohm voice coils. The coil diameter is 3″. 10″, 12″ and 15″ elements are available.
