The DLS RZ6.2Q is the Swedish manufacturer's latest proof that speaker manufacturing doesn't always have to reinvent the wheel. Instead of exotic cone materials, chrome magnets or a glow-in-the-dark body, the DLS RZ 6.2Q is a stand-alone kit with a paper-cone mid-bass and a fiberglass-cone broadband. 6.2Q is the third version of RZ speakers, where the mid-bass has a new stiffened frame.
The port magnet for the mids and the rubber upper suspension that holds tight control guarantee a powerfully hitting bass end, and the broadband helps raise the stereo image to the right height.
The RZ6.2Q is upgraded from the previous RZ 6.2i series.
We recommend installing the broadband element on the same vertical axis as the mid-bass. In active use, the recommended high pass for broadband is 800 – 1500 Hz / 18dB slope and low pass 18kHz / 6dB slope.
