But as we know, that loud and strong ringing doesn't happen by itself, the products really have to be designed for it and for that use. This is where the new GAS MAD subs come into play…
The new injection-molded IMPP (Injection Molded Polypropylene) cone of GAS MAD subwoofers is rigid and made to last a long time. Not forgetting that this orange cone MAD element is outrageously cool.
USG "Unity Surround Gasket"
The upper suspension of the GAS MAD subwoofers is "one piece" with the rubber ring that goes around the element. This eliminates uneven movement of the cone.
"Keep it cool"
When playing loudly, cooling the voice coil is of prime importance. GAS MAD subwoofers have DCS (Dual Ventilation System), which reduces the heating of the voice coil and guarantees a longer continuous bass.
Appearance matters
On the body of the MAD elements, you will find details such as the letter "M" and the stylish GAS logos, which also serve as cooling openings for the voice coil. Element's dust cup is the same injection-molded polypropylene as the cone, but equipped with a stylish GAS logo.
In what case?
GAS MAD subwoofers are suitable for both closed and reflex housings! For all case options, we definitely recommend putting cotton wool inside. The right amount depends on your listening habits, and the amount of wadding can really affect the sound.

Regardless of the vehicle, the GAS MAD series is made for anyone who wants a great-sounding subwoofer that plays hard but doesn't cause a lot of turbulence in the bank account. The elements are on one four-ohm voice coil, so with two MAD subwoofers you get a two-ohm load for the amplifier, by connecting the elements in parallel. If you want even more street credibility (and sound pressure), with four elements you can create a one-ohm load for the amplifier.
