JVC DLA-NZ7 8K/e-shift
The DLA-NZ7 D-ILA projector is the world's first home theater projector with full 8K/60p and 4K120p compatibility. It is equipped with the new 8K/e-shift technology, which reproduces the image with incredible 8K-level sharpness. Three D-ILA cells with native 4K resolution, a high-quality 65 mm glass lens and an efficient Laser light source (maximum brightness of 2200 lumens) are responsible for the image output. The BLU-Escent laser diode light source contributes to projecting an image that feels exceptionally authentic. The HDR10+-compatible projector offers industry-leading HDR performance - and of course, the black level and image vividness are truly worth experiencing in JVC's typical way.
The projector uses the latest technology, which has been developed to process the huge amount of data required by 8K resolution. JVC's well-respected and further developed image processing is capable of converting even older image sources to 8K/e-shift quality with amazing quality. You'll see more beautiful and realistic video images bursting with contrast and naturalness, regardless of the source, from series on streaming services to 4K UHD Blu-ray movies.
A high-quality glass lens is an essential factor in the final result
The NZ7 model uses a remarkably high-quality 65mm diameter glass lens, which consists of 17 elements and 15 groups.
HDR10+ enables two dynamic tone mappings
When you want to reproduce rich HDR video footage, including an extended brightness range, a wide BT.2020 color gamut and 10-bit tones, you can count on the NZ7 to get the job done expertly. The new models support all HDR formats, including HDR10 for Blu-ray discs and streaming, HLG, and the latest HDR10+ signal format with dynamic metadata compatibility.
JVC DLA projectors are compatible with HDR10+ and Frame Adapt HDR with two dynamic tone mappings. HDR10+ contains metadata defined by the creators for each scene separately, while Frame Adapt HDR analyzes the brightness of HDR10 content lightning fast using a unique algorithm.
4K120p support is ideal for low-latency gaming
The DLA-NZ7 is equipped with a 4K120p HDMI input. The latency of the signal is extremely small, so the game image produced with a high refresh rate gets its rights on a giant screen in a special way. The exceptionally low delay in displaying PC and game console images improves the player's ability to react to the fast-paced events of games.
Reliable BLU-Escent laser diodes guarantee exceptional brightness and longevity
The light source of the DLA-NZ7 projector is the latest blue laser diode BLU-Escent. BLU-Escent technology has been introduced in JVC home theater projectors to achieve exceptional brightness and a lifetime of up to 20,000 hours*. The laser diode allows for dynamic brightness control to produce images closer to human perception. By combining the latest BLU-Escent light source with the D-ILA cannon, exceptionally detailed, balanced and impressive image quality is achieved.
*In theory, the light source can last up to 20 years or more if you watch a 2.5-hour movie every day, for example.
