The MX-DAC is a real performer. It has extremely low distortion, high bandwidth and low noise. The MX-DAC's technical performance stands up to any other DAC in any price range. Jitter is about 12 pps, signal-to-noise ratio -116dB (A-weighted), linearity is +0.2dB at -116dB level, Channel separation is -104dB at 1kHz frequency, frequency response is linear and distortion is non-existent 0.00025% at 1kHz frequency and 0.0003 % at 20kHz frequency. These technical figures are state-of-the-art and show that our implementation is almost perfect to ensure a neutral and accurate digital-to-analog conversion for any digital input.

The MX-DACs have the following inputs: 2 x coaxial (max 24bit 192 kHz PCM), 2 x optical (max 24bit 192 kHz PCM) and asynchronous USB (max 24bit 192 kHz PCM) as well as DSD 64 and DSD 128.

All inputs, both coaxial, optical and USB are processed in a DSD environment. This feature brings warmth and naturalness to the sound that a simple digital-to-analog conversion cannot.

MX-DACs have both balanced and unbalanced outputs.

The new MX series is wonderfully executed, both visually and technically. Both the front panel and the frame are made of high-quality extruded aluminum.
