The Debut Carbon EVO is equipped with a one-piece carbon fiber sound arm, electric speed change, a completely new, better damping motor suspension and the adjustable damping feet familiar from better models. In addition, it is already equipped with a high-quality Ortofon 2M-Red sound box from the factory.

The Debut Carbon EVO is a fully manual turntable. It is designed primarily to deliver top-level performance and sound quality. Still, it is both reasonably priced and has a sophisticated aesthetic in appearance: it claims its place as the central element of the living room with style. The name is inherited from its predecessor, which managed to win countless tests and awards: the Debut Carbon model series has been a sales success around the world. Now the Debut Carbon EVO comes and is better than its predecessor in every aspect, both in terms of technical features and finish.
The central element of the Debut Carbon EVO is the 8.6" carbon fiber tonearm. Carbon fiber has inexpensive acoustic properties, but due to the high manufacturing costs, carbon fiber sound arms are rarely seen in record players under 800 Euros. In this respect, the Debut Carbon EVO has a unique advantage over the competition. Special bearings made of sapphire, high-quality internal wiring of the tonearm, an interference-protected terminal box and the factory-installed Ortofon 2M-Red MM tonebox at the other end of the tonearm form a combination capable of wonderful sound quality with the carbon fiber arm. Together, they extract from the album the nuances of the music, sensitivity and power in all their fineness.
Debut Carbon EVO is immediately recognizable by the quality of construction and finish. There are nine surface options, so there is sure to be a solution that fits every interior. The classic rectangular body of the record player is timelessly reduced. The manufacturing material is MDF, because it has an important property for this purpose: good damping of resonances. Debut Carbon EVO's design aims to minimize and control resonances in all areas.
The motor, which is designed and produced in-house, is made according to exact tolerances to minimize vibrations. In addition to this, the motor is isolated from the frame by means of a new, TPE damped mounting plate. This new motor mount effectively isolates the motor from other critical parts of the turntable, while keeping the motor precisely in place. This achieves an even more stable rotation speed. The body of the record player rests on its base on three adjustable, TPE-damped metal feet. They form a stable base for the turntable's operation and effectively isolate it from its base.
Debut Carbon EVO plays 33, 45 and 78 round discs with standard equipment. The speed change is controlled with an easy-to-use three-position (33 – OFF – 45) rocker switch. For 78-round records, a circular drive belt is included, the needle Ortofon Stylus 2M 78 is not included. The electronic speed change brings comfort, but above all the electronically regulated control circuit of the motor ensures a precise and stable rotation speed of the motor.
A motor and a drive belt rotate the turntable via a platter, keeping the appearance of the instrument clean and elegant. The coaster rests on a stainless steel and bronze precision-machined main bearing. The actual turntable is made of steel: it has a mass of 1.7 kilos and is TPE damped on the inside. This is a technically excellent combination: the mass guarantees a stable and precise rotation speed and the TPE damping eliminates resonances.
Debut Carbon Evo is a technically advanced turntable, with audiophile quality throughout. The decorator is also grateful: nine stylish surface options and the minimalistic nature of the line enable analog music to become a central part of life. Dust cover with adjustable hinges, factory-adjusted Ortofon 2M-Red sound box and semi-balanced, low-capacitance, effectively shielded Pro-Ject Connect It E turntable cable are part of the standard equipment. The Debut Carbon EVO is a new development version of the hi-fi legend, which is guaranteed to impress and bring joy to its owner for years to come.
