QED Performance Active HDMI
A very high-quality HDMI cable manufactured by the British QED. The Performance HDMI Active cable must be connected in the correct direction. The SOURCE end of the connector is connected to the transmitting device and the DISPLAY end to the receiving device.
High speed and best features
QED has offered an Audio Return Channel (ARC) in its HDMI cables even before it was a requirement of the HDMI organization, and when the HDMI 1.4 specification came into use in 2009, we have focused only on manufacturing "High Speed with Ethernet" cables. The rapid adoption of technologies has helped us immediately support the new HDMI 2.0b standard introduced a few years ago and certify cables for 4K60 use.
4K60
With the introduction of the HDMI 2.0 standard in September 2013, the maximum data speed of the HDMI link increased to 18 GB/s. Previously, the maximum speed required was 10.2 GB/s. The new version enables the 4K 60Hz video standard with an expanded color space (4K60 4:4:4), which required a data rate of up to 16.06 Gb/s. To achieve this, the source and display devices at each end of the cable must also be 2.0 compliant. The new QED Premium HDMI is fully compatible with the latest 2.0b specification, which was introduced in March 2016.
HDR
High Dynamic Range (HDR) support was also introduced with HDMI version 2.0. High-quality HDR displays are capable of a higher contrast ratio and brightness, so that the details of the image come out in both bright and shadow areas. A similar technology, usually associated with HDR, is Wide Color Gamut (WCG), which provides an expanded color gamut.
eFLEX
The new cable selection is designed to be as thin and flexible as possible. The new Performance selection is characterized by a stylish dark coloring and a maximum diameter of 6 mm so that it is suitable for use with the thinnest televisions.
