Description
Audison SR 4.300 4-channel amplifier with crossover
Audison proudly presents the renewed SR 4.300 (85 W x 4 @ 4Ω) 4-channel amplifier that was originally introduced back in 1988 and has been tirelessly updated with the latest technological innovations.
Audison's design team in Potenza Picena (Italy) spent a lot of time designing and refining this amplifier, utilizing the latest innovations in amplifier technology. As a result of numerous blind listening tests, the product development department selected a new D-class amplifier technology called ADT (Audison D-Class Technology) for the entire SR amplifier collection. This technology has made it possible to significantly reduce the size of the amplifiers, while still maintaining the high performance that Audison is known for.
Borderless design
The shape of the amplifier was also paid attention to with the same devotion as its electrical values, and the SR 4.300's case, which is rounded at the edges, is made of extruded aluminum, and thanks to the cooling fins placed on its sides, it has not been necessary to install even the first fan in the case. Because of its size and design, the amplifier is very easy to fit into the car and also looks really stylish.
Versatile controls
In keeping with tradition, the SR series amplifiers live up to their calling for versatility by including a full-scale filter section in every amplifier in the series. The satin-finished protective panel of the top plate contains a really wide range of adjustments, which are all located in the same place, so operation is easy even after installation. If Audison's bit series processor is added to the system, the filter part can be bypassed entirely.
Thanks to the integration of Audison's USS (Universal Speakers Simulator) technology into the speaker-level inputs, the SR series amplifiers can be safely connected behind original car stereos that monitor the load going to the speakers.
Unlimited connectivity
All SR series amplifiers are equipped with speaker-level inputs for connecting original instruments, as well as RCA-level inputs for aftermarket instruments. When using speaker-level input, the ART (Automatic Remote Turn-On / Off) function can be activated, so that the amplifier does not need to be powered separately, but starts when it detects a signal. In addition, the amplifier has a remote IN / OUT plug, which allows the excitation to be chained to several amplifiers.
The SR 1.500, SR 4.300 and 4.500 models recreate the signal from the preamp through the Speaker-In input, which allows the amplifiers to be connected to original instruments equipped with amplified outputs.
Characteristics
1. ADC (Audison D-Class) technology is stable down to 2 Ω, thus ensuring high-class performance in a compact size.
2. Extruded aluminum case with fanless cooling.
3. Built-in USS (Universal Speaker Simulator)
4. Balanced hum-canceling speaker-level inputs for original instruments and RCA connections for retrofits.
5. ART (Automatic Remote Turn-On/Off) wakes up the amplifier from an incoming speaker-level signal.
6. The preamplifier outputs can also be used at speaker level with the incoming signal.
7. The amplifier can be bridged to three or two channels.
8. Bass Boost (50 Hz) can be adjusted by the user up to 12 dB to boost the sound.
8. 12 dB continuously adjustable (50 - 3200 Hz) high and low pass filters.
