Wilson SIX Power pair of floor speakers with active subwoofers.
Incredible bass cannon :)
The Wilson SIX Power is a floor speaker designed for the enthusiast who wants, if necessary, palpable and adjustable bass reproduction of low frequencies without a bulky subwoofer. And notice - when you naturally get two of these great speakers as your main speakers, you also have two invisible subwoofers in your system. The end result is a smoother, more powerful and thrilling experience.
These speakers are perfect for stereo systems, but they are also suitable as front speakers for a home theater system. In the latter case, every lover of action movies can certainly appreciate the convincing reproduction of low frequencies.
Since the speaker's built-in amplifier handles the most demanding frequency range with its own power source, a separate amplifier that controls the reproduction of the middle and upper range of the speaker (for example, an integrated stereo amplifier or a home theater tuner) can be accessed much more easily, and thus there is enough capacity for all situations. The solution has a positive effect on the more accurate and cleaner reproduction of all frequency ranges, thanks to which the bass is stronger and has unprecedented dynamics.
The volume and crossover frequency of the bass amplifier are adjusted with precision stepped potentiometers. Wilson SIX Power speakers can also be used as classic passive speakers, for example for playing a lighter music repertoire. In this case, the additional bass amplification can be switched off.
Visually, these speakers represent a classic and unobtrusive shape that suits most rooms without revealing at first glance how much solid technology is hidden inside the speakers.
The cases are relatively graceful, and their surface is finished with a high-quality veneer imitation that mistakenly resembles a real wood surface. In addition to the traditional black, the speaker is also available with a light oak wood finish.
The grilles of the SIX Power speakers are attached magnetically and they cover the front wall almost entirely with an acoustically neutral fabric, the color or texture of which the user can choose. The black speaker comes with a matte black and a glossier black grille. The oak color comes with black and gray, respectively.
Adding flavor to the design of these speakers is the rare and sophisticated white illumination of the Wilson logo at the bottom of the speaker. This detail adds to the speaker's character, especially in a dark room, because it not only tells you that the speaker is ready for operation, but also unobtrusively illuminates the surrounding environment.
