Description
STYLISH COMBINED WITH A CLEAR SOUND FIELD
Yamaha – also known as a musical instrument manufacturer – has launched the NS-600A bookshelf speaker, which combines aesthetic design with advanced technology.
The beautiful case features a piano-like finish, and Yamaha's own Harmonious Diaphragm™ creates an exceptionally consistent tone. In addition, the speakers produce an incredibly clear sound field, which is characteristic of bookshelf speakers. The result is a unique listening experience during which you can fully immerse yourself in the world of music.
Familiar style from our pianos
Yamaha's NS-600A combines the sophistication of a piano with the design philosophy of a loudspeaker in its elegant appearance. The speakers have a glossy surface typical of Yamaha grand pianos, which is only used in selected Yamaha products. Thanks to the elegant finish, the speaker blends into the interior, and it's a pleasure to look at it, both when listening to music and at other times.
TRUE SOUND
This is a sound that only Yamaha can make possible, as it is the only manufacturer in the world that produces everything from the moment the sound is created until it reaches the human ear. Close your eyes and feel the artist perform right in front of you and experience the profound feeling of being truly "closer to the artist".
TONAL BALANCE
Each ear hears the world differently. Yamaha expresses the sound as the artist intended it. Playing sound elements such as vocals and instruments at the right pitch requires both passion and precision. Yamaha achieves this through tonal sound balance, enriching harmonies and recreating musicality so you can hear sounds you couldn't hear before.
PERFECTLY UNIFORM VOICE TONE
Hear the sounds of instruments at their most authentic. As a world-renowned manufacturer of musical instruments, Yamaha is tirelessly committed to this mission. In order to achieve this goal, we have created flagship speakers whose design is based on a consistent sound color across the entire frequency spectrum, to achieve which we have applied unique technology. The speakers of the NS-600A model use the newly developed Harmonious Diaphragm™ cone, which is made from a blend of ZYLON® fiber, which has excellent sound speed and optimal element resonance, and Hexafiber, which is used in the resonator base of Yamaha grand pianos and is essential for radiating sound. This ensures that the harmonies of the sound stand out and the music is richer and more beautiful.
DYNAMICS
Instead of just producing a powerful sound, we strive for dynamics that embody the contrast between the silence and movement of the music, allowing you to feel the powerful and deep emotions of the music and immerse yourself in the world of music.
PERFECT PLAYBACK OF MUSIC
Yamaha's patented RS (Resonance Suppression) attenuators are mounted on the back of the tweeter elements, so that even the finest nuances of instruments and voices can be expressed faithfully. Two specially designed tubes cancel the unwanted resonance generated behind the membrane, which produces the original sound and preserves even the smallest musical nuances.
A FAITHFUL MUSICAL PRESENCE
Conventional speakers use a lot of sound-absorbing material to eliminate standing sound waves inside the housing, but at the same time, a large part of the music's natural liveliness is removed. In the NS-600A speakers we have used a patented Absorber tube to eliminate standing sound waves and at the same time we have minimized the amount of damping material so that the original realism of the music is reproduced with full energy and dynamics.
SOUND PICTURE
The position of the artist and instruments and even the subtle nuances and atmosphere of the performance space are reproduced with amazing precision. The resulting sound space is so incredibly realistic that you feel like you're watching the show unfold right in front of you.
VERY MUSICAL VIBRATION CONTROL
The basis of producing excellent sound, both in instruments and in speakers, is determining how the sound is generated in the housing and where the vibrations must be dampened. The housing structure of the NS-600A speakers uses the latest speaker design technology, which makes full use of laser vibrometers used in musical instrument research and development, as well as advanced FEM (Finite Element Method) analysis. The speaker enclosure is optimally reinforced, allowing for excellent sound localization that makes you feel like you are right there in the show, and produces excellent expressive power that perfectly reproduces even the most subtle instrumental and vocal nuances.
The NS-600A is a compact 2-way speaker that reproduces the sounds of instruments naturally and the tones of music accurately.
