The speakers in the NS-800A model use a newly developed Harmonious Diaphragm™ cone, made from a blend of ZYLON® fiber, which has excellent sound velocity and optimal element resonance, and Hexafiber, which is used in the soundboard of Yamaha grand pianos and is essential for sound radiating. This ensures that the harmonies of the sound stand out and the music is richer and more beautiful.

PERFECT MUSIC REPRODUCTION
Yamaha's patented RS (Resonance Suppression) dampers are mounted on the rear of the tweeter drivers to faithfully reproduce the finest nuances of instruments and voices. Two specially designed tubes cancel out unwanted resonances generated behind the diaphragm, producing the original sound while preserving even the smallest musical nuances.
FAITHFUL MUSICAL PRESENCE
Conventional speakers use a lot of sound-absorbing material to eliminate standing waves inside the cabinet, but at the same time, they remove much of the music's inherent liveliness. In the NS-800A speakers, we have used a patented Absorber tube to eliminate standing waves while minimizing the amount of damping material to reproduce the original realism of the music with full energy and dynamics.

The positioning of the artist and instruments, and even the subtle nuances and atmosphere of the performance space, are reproduced with astonishing accuracy. The resulting soundstage is so incredibly realistic that you feel as if you are watching the performance unfold right in front of you.
