YPAO™ includes a precision equalizer that performs exceptionally accurate equalization with up to 192 kHz/64-bit resolution. YPAO™ RSC (Reflected Sound Control) actively controls important early reflections, automatically fine-tuning and optimizing the sound in your room based on wall materials and speaker placement. Yamaha has over 60 years of experience in audio equipment manufacturing. The technology behind the R-N800A receiver is directly derived from Yamaha's legendary Hi-Fi design concept, ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology), which faithfully preserves the integrity of the sound by carefully combining symmetrical left/right circuit layout and the straightest and shortest signal paths, with an extremely rigid, low-vibration chassis. The chassis is reinforced with a special resin frame, "Art Base", which helps to dampen and prevent unnecessary vibrations that degrade the sound, preserving the purity and dynamism of the sound.

ANTI-RESONANCE EQUIPMENT FEET
The R-N800A features anti-resonance feet designed according to the vibration damping principle. By placing thin curved reinforcement bars on the outer circumference of the feet and solid straight reinforcement bars in the center, the vibration energy transmitted from the outside of the feet can be effectively dispersed and reduced. The feet allow you to reproduce the most accurate sound, allowing you to fully feel the rhythm and dynamics of the music.
HIGH PRECISION AND PERFORMANCE
The R-N800A uses a high-quality SABRE ES9080Q 384 kHz / 32-bit DA converter (ESS Technology) to deliver superior signal-to-noise ratio performance. Combined with Yamaha's network module, the DA converter thoroughly brings out all the sonic characteristics of high-resolution audio sources, effectively reproducing even the subtle atmosphere of concert halls and the delicate expressive nuances of sound.

The R-N800A is equipped with Yamaha's MusicCast network system. MusicCast is compatible with a variety of streaming services, including Amazon Music HD and Spotify, so you can fully enjoy the exceptional high-quality sound that is characteristic of today's high-resolution and lossless audio sources. You can also use it to stream Apple Music with Airplay 2. With the MusicCast system, you can easily listen to music anywhere in your home by connecting multiple MusicCast devices together using the Finnish-language MusicCast control app.

USB DAC FUNCTION
A stable transmission method is employed through asynchronous transmission. In addition, a high-precision crystal clock is installed to improve signal accuracy. The Yamaha USB-DAC also supports DSD 11.2 MHz native playback and PCM 384 kHz playback, so you can enjoy exceptionally high-quality sound that takes full advantage of high-resolution audio sources.
