HDR10+, 8K/60Hz, 4K/120Hz*
HDR10+ not only reproduces the dynamic range (brightness-to-dark ratio) of video content frame by frame (or even frame by frame), it also reproduces the characteristics between bright and dark so that important details can be preserved. The images displayed in this way better correspond to reality and how they are supposed to look.
4K/120Hz makes ultra-fast UHD video clear and extremely accurate, which is an excellent advantage during sports, action movies, high-performance gaming and VR gaming.

Dolby Atmos® Height Virtualization *
Dolby Atmos equipped with Height Virtualization technology simulates Atmos sound reproduction in forward-facing speaker elements when the system does not have ceiling or upward-facing speakers. You can configure up to five speakers to create the soundscape of two ceiling speakers, or use all seven channels to simulate the powerful effect of four overhead speakers.
Experience all the dimensions of the Dolby Atmos system. Enjoy a 5.1-channel surround sound system and two additional ceiling speakers or two Dolby Atmos ceiling reflectors that enable dramatic ceiling sound effects and true surround sound. Includes a Dolby Surround mixer for older content.

DTS:X
The immersive DTS:X sound format places the sound in the space in its natural place of manifestation, which creates a realistic and multidimensional sound reproduction. The included DTS Neural:X feature makes your movies even more immersive and realistic.
Advantage of High Slew Rate amplifiers
The High Slew Rate amplifier terminals used by Yamaha promote accurate signal transfer, which is especially suitable for high-resolution audio signals. Yamaha's newly developed circuit technology achieves both fast signal speed and stable signal transmission. Slew Rate: How quickly the amplifier reacts to rapid changes in the incoming signal.
Center support ART
Yamaha's Anti Resonance Technology (ART) includes a central support placed in the middle of the unit. It provides dynamic and accurate sound reproduction by suppressing vibration caused by the transformer, power transistors and heat exchanger, as well as vibration that may be caused by the sound of the speakers.
YPAO™RSC/Multi-Point audio optimization
YPAO RSC (Reflected Sound Controller) sound optimization analyzes room acoustics with the included YPAO calibration microphone and tunes your system to produce incredible sound. RSC corrects early reflections to achieve studio-level sound quality. YPAO 3D automatically optimizes the sound parameters and thus helps to achieve the best possible 3D sound field efficiency for CINEMA DSP HD3, Dolby Atmosei and DTS:X. 64-bit highly accurate EQ calculation produces the most natural room acoustics.
CINEMA DSP 3D for movies, music and games
Yamaha's special and unique technology that creates sound fields was developed by combining data collected from sound fields with digital signal processing. Yamaha collected sound field data from famous concert halls and music clubs around the world, using its extensive experience in concert hall design, speaker systems and mixing. By digitizing this extensive information and including it in special LSI devices, it is possible to create spaces that are impressively equivalent to concert halls with home devices. Immerse yourself in the amazingly realistic sound of movies and step deep into the world of theater sound.

Pair this AV receiver with a MusicCast 50 or MusicCast 20 wireless speaker and you'll be amazed at how easily you can create a home theater with wireless rear speakers. SCENE speed dials, easier and faster.
The RXA2A model has four SCENE speed dials. You can set different inputs, sound field programs, Music enhancement circuit, HDMI output and much more. You can set speed dial for sources such as FM radio and internet radio stations, music streaming services, USB device or PC. Make the setting and hold down the SCENE key for a while, the setting is saved behind the selection key.
Control easily with the MusicCast control app
Use the MusicCast app on your smartphone or tablet to control and operate the RX-A2A. You can use the app to control several MusicCast products and share music between devices wirelessly.
