The YH-C3000 combines Yamaha's tradition of instrument building with cutting-edge acoustic design. Elegant wooden cabinets and the new ARMODYNAMIC driver produce an open and rich sound. The closed-back design, premium materials and assembly in Japan guarantee a listening experience where the music takes you away and time is forgotten.
The Yamaha YHC3000 is for listeners who value a warm, natural and intimate audio experience, but also want the comfort of a closed enclosure.
For those for whom headphones are not just a device, but part of the listening experience – wooden finish adds dignity to both home listening and demanding recording use – closed design reduces environmental interference
ARMODYNAMIC™
ARMODYNAMIC™ Element - The prefix "armo" in the ARMODYNAMIC element comes from the Italian word "armonia", which means musical harmony.
The name ARMODYNAMIC itself reflects the perfectly harmonious sound produced by the diaphragm – a sound that is smooth, spacious and detailed.
The diaphragm used in the new AMODYNAMIC driver features a unique three-layer construction, with a lightweight foam layer sandwiched between two rigid outer layers made from a blend of PBO fiber (ZYLON), paper, and resin. This construction achieves the ideal balance between lightness, stiffness, and internal loss – delivering fast response, high resolution, and refined sound quality that surpasses the performance of single-layer diaphragms.
HOUSING
The YH-C3000's wooden cabinet is made from high-quality beech, the same wood used in Yamaha grand pianos. Beech is lightweight, highly rigid, and produces a natural, uncolored sound. These qualities bring out the strengths of the ARMODYNAMIC element to the fullest, contributing to excellent sound resolution and fast response time.
Isolated key experience - Closed-back enclosure maintains privacy and prevents sound leakage, while providing good adaptability to different environments.
The YH-C3000 combines premium build quality and comfort for effortless listening. Its stainless steel headband is inherited from the YH-5000SE model, offering stability and durability. The lightweight body, weighing only 330 grams, ensures a comfortable wearing experience even during long listening sessions.
The custom ear cushions have been developed through meticulous development and testing, and are made from Japanese silk protein leather and memory foam, which together provide excellent seal and comfort.
These features allow you to fully immerse yourself in the depths of your music and enjoy its rich detail in full savour.
